Greetings Saints,
I simply love to go to church…some may think that is weird…but that is ok. God loves church! Hebrews 10:25 says “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Assembling together..you can see Assembly of God here. I must say when I hear the music start…Praise and Worship being given to the Lord… I thoroughly enjoy myself. I don’t know about you but I even enjoy the preaching.
God’s presence was evident in both services yesterday. For several months we have been praying on Sunday nights, there have been some powerful services. God’s people have told me of times of refreshing, healing and we are seeing His power move in our other services. God has truly been good to us.
Think about this Verse Ginger shared with us last night.
Zephaniah 3:17 (kjv) The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
(nlt) For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
Do you think God enjoys a good lively worship service? I think he does! Now you don’t have to wait until next Sunday to worship…you can worship Him by your life style right now, but next Sunday why not prepare yourself to just let loose and worship. Sing, clap your hands and let the Holy Spirit even get in your feet. You just never know you could enjoy yourself immensely!
Prayer: Lord, It makes my heart jump to know that you rejoice over me. May my worship make Your heart jump with joy. I will worship You and if I am feeling blue I will bring a Sacrifice of Praise. Pour You Spirit out in my life, church and this area. Amen!
